BELGIUM - Brussels hosted the VisitBrussels Week
VisitBrussels has once again showcased the city as the fantastic
business tourism destination that it is, to locals as well as to
thousands of professionals connected to this industry. The 2012 event
was focused on the aspects of experience, innovation and effective
communication during events with a more personal approach.
During the last week of June, the Brussels Week gave 50 Association representatives and 60 international agencies and meeting planners a special introduction to Destination Brussels with an original program and of course visits to special venues.
As it does every year, VisitBrussels ended the Brussels Week by presenting a number of prizes to reward initiatives that contribute to the international influence of Brussels.
In all, 24 initiatives were entered in 8 different categories, over 10.000 MICE professionals voted for a variety of categories. The ceremony, hosted by former Miss Belgium Tatiana Silva, was held at Arsenal in Brussels, and was the conclusion of the successful VisitBrussels Week hosted by Visit Brussels.
