SPAIN - Christoph Tessmar new Director of Barcelona Convention Bureau
Among his previous work expreriences, Tessmar, who was Jury President at 2009 EuBEA, worked as Area Manager for Boehringer Mannheim and as Congress Manager for Sanofi-Aventis Spain, where he stayed until January 2012, organising and coordinating all the events of the company, nearly 500 events per year.
Christoph Tessmar, who was Jury President at 2009 EuBEA, is the new Director of Barcelona Convention Bureau.Tessmar started the professional career in Boehringer Mannheim as Area Manager for some countries in South America. In January 1990 he moved to Boehringer Mannheim in Barcelona where he started with organization of some events and congresses.
In 1999 he joined Sanofi-Aventis Spain as Congress Manager, where he worked until January 2012; he was in charge of the organization and coordination of all the events of the company (national and international congresses, product presentations, symposia, sales conventions and booth design), nearly 500 events per year.
