EuBEA: Call for Entries for the 2008 edition

ADC Agenzia della Comunicazione
, in collaboration with the e20 events and sponsorship magazine, is proud to announce the 5th Edition of the EuBEA European Best Event Awards.
The objective of the Awards is to validate events as innovative forms of communication, integral to the media mix and an important part of a company’s wider marketing strategy.

The quantity and quality of international events entered into the Awards during the past two years has, for this year inspired ADC to divide the programme into two separate and completely independent parts – one set of awards for national entries from Italy and one set of awards for international entries from across Europe.
Starting this year therefore, ADC is awarding the BEA Italy award, exclusively reserved for Italian events and the EuBEA-European Best Event Awards award - open to events from all over Europe.

Participation in the EuBEA is open to: Events Agencies, Public Relations, Advertising, Promotion, Companies, Web Agencies, Media Centres, Advertising Agencies, Publishers, Production Houses, Public Bodies and Associations, etc., who have carried out a public or private event everywhere in the world between July 1st, 2007 and July 30th, 2008.

The fact that the Awards will double is only one among the news; EuBEA 2008 is enriched by 4 new Event Types:  Music Event, Sport Event, Cultural Event. The fairs, always judged together with congress and convention will become an Event Type.
Even the Special Awards have their novelty: starting this year the Best Event Evaluation Award will be awarded for the effective measurement of Return on Investment or Objectives. The Award is promoted by the Event ROI Institute (www.eventroi.com) that organises monthly workshops around Europe regarding how to start the event planning process by defining the desired business impact, typically the direct effect on the company's bottom line, and then how to influence participants to do something after the event which creates value for the stakeholders.  The course is not only about how to measure results, but equally much about how to plan meetings and event which achieve the best possible results. The agencies that will enter events into this category, could attend the course for free.

Last, but not least, EuBEA will be held in a new location: Turin. This city, rich in Olympic experience, is demonstrating that it knows how to invest in the sector, promoting important and high-quality events.

The EuBEA Awards ceremony will be held on November 20th at Palasport Olimpico as part of the “Bea Expo Festival”, a two-day kermesse born with the aim of bringing together - in an innovative way - the European Community involved in the Events Industry.
Divided into four different areas – Expo, Workshop, BEA, Festival – it will allow everyone to do business, learn, benchmark …all within a couple of days.
