ADC Group launches the The International Festival of Events and Live Communication. It starts from Sevilla
After the success of EuBEA Awards, ADC Group has taken another step towards internationalization, bringing together the events industry in a European wide-ranging festival, whose first edition will be held on 23rd–25th October in Seville. Over the course of three days, during which the plenary of the two juries of Italy and of the European Bea will take place as well, there will be lots of opportunities for training and networking at the highest level.
With great pride, I can finally announce that ADC Group is making a major leap forward and launches the first European event dedicated to the events industry.
The reasons that led us to believe in this ambitious project reside in the success that the only international award for the Event as a communication medium has gained in its eight years of life.

On Thursday, 23rd October we will start with the works of EuBEA’s Jury. New this year is that the agencies that will be shortlisted after an online selection, will present their projects to the jury. As well, the delegates taking part in the Festival will be able to attend the presentations of their colleagues/competitors. In addition, the Festival will also host the Italian BEA’s Jury, which will work in the same way (the awards ceremony will be held, instead, in Milan in late November during the BEA Expo Festival) .
In the meantime, contents of particular importance by key note speakers from the world of events and, more generally, forms of artistic expression from which, as we all know, the events take inspiration from, will be proposed.
On the first day will kick off as well the competition for young people under 28. Given that the elephant is the symbol of EuBEA, the competition could not be called other than Young Elephant Contest. Pairs of creatives selected by local associations partner of the Festival will be able to take part in it.
The reasons that led us to believe in this ambitious project reside in the success that the only international award for the Event as a communication medium has gained in its eight years of life.

This success is demonstrated by clear and flattering numbers: 941 are the events, representing 25 countries, that until now have been subscribed; 250 European agencies have taken part (of which only a small part Italian), and 180 jurors have alternated over the years, mostly belonging to the biggest companies in the world of communication, to trade associations partners of EuBEA, and to the most prestigious local newspapers, which were also media partners of the event.
In this context, we had the idea of taking a step forward and trying to create a larger container in which it would be possible to find, in addition to EuBEA (this year at its 9th edition), informations and high level opportunities for interaction and networking and opportunities to enable young people to express their skills through a contest dedicated to them.
Everything will take place from 23rd to 25th October. Where? This is another important innovation. The Congress and Convention Bureau in Seville strongly desired that the first edition were taken into the city that hosted the Expo in 1992. A good omen, I think, for what will happen in Milan next year.
On Tuesday, 6th May, the Advisory Board, created to take the Festival in the right direction and composed of representatives of the most influential companies and industry associations, already partners in EuBEA, has met at the Enterprise Hotel in Milan.
The 10 members of the Advisory Board that took part in the meeting were:
- Bertrand Biard, President Anae' (France)
- Ander Bilbao, Ceo / managing director Group sorensen / Club Para Exellencia (Spain)
- Elling Hamso, Managing director Roi Institute (Norway)
- Maarten Schram, Managing director Idea (Netherlands)
- Johan Vandepoel, Ceo ACC (Belgium)
- Marco Forgione, Chief Executive at Ivca Evcom (Uk)

- Stefan Kozak, President BTL Communications Association (Czeck Rep.)
- Niklas Birgetz, Managing director SEFS (Sweden)
- Yavuz Ozdel, President Yepud (Turkey)

- Elfie Adler, Managing Director ESGmbH (Portugal)

A lot of space will be given to the rich programme of contents and networking opportunities.
Framing the event, a fantastic programmme of leisure activities developed by the Convention Bureau in Seville and the grand finale, on the last day, during which the prizes will be delivered.
On the website dedicated to EuBEA Festival, which we will open in a few days , and on e20express.it, we will communicate the details of this initiative, which aims to become a must-see event.
In the meantime, write on your agenda this date.
See you in Seville!
