Nel 2013 Cornetto ha lanciato Cupidity Love Stories, una serie di corti destinati ai teenager, che descrivono il corso imprevedibile dell’amore: Enjoy the Ride, Love the Ending (in Italia, ‘Goditi il viaggio, amerai il finale’).
A seguito dei primi sei corti, per la maggior parte meno sdolcinati di quello che uno si potesse aspettare, Cornetto Films sconvolge gli schemi e presenta 40-Love, una storia d’amore lesbico tra il timido giudice di linea Debbie e Maria, una appariscente latinoamericana stella nascente del tennis. Sebbene Phoebe Neidhardt e Fernanda Romero sono un’immagine piuttosto cosmetica del lesbismo, è la presenza della cantante irriverente Lily Allen (Fuck You, 2009) come narratrice - e un cameo come un Cupido in borghese - che aggiunge un sano tocco di provocazione.
Il filmato è un esempio di branded content maturo dove il legame con lo sponsor è puramente concettuale,anche se la presenza del logo sul perimetro del campo da tennis è appena nei limiti dell’accettabile.

Act One
Everybody wants to be loved. Everybody wants to be in love. But we don’t always know what form love will come in. Take Debbie. She believed in the idea of love. Just didn’t know what love looked like. Until the moment she saw Maria. A rising tennis star, respected for her talent, but famous for her beauty. And no sooner had Debbie found her, she felt her chances slipping away. Love stories always have a beginning. They just don’t always begin the way you imagined.
Act Three
Debbie began to understand that the more people recognized you, the lonelier it felt. She understood a part of Maria’s life, one not many people can relate to.
Act Four
Fear of loss is stronger when one has truly something to lose. So when you do jump in, the fall hurts that much more. Sometimes you just have to trust that love will find a way. Just maybe not the way you imagined. Thousands of love stories happen every day. Where sometimes the most unlikely pairing makes the perfect match. I am Cupid. And this is Cupidity.
